Sao Tomé-et-Principe, Principe,
Healthy food, a tasty drinking yogurt, 6 flavors, quality at accessible prices, made locally, simple production with turnkey plant and training, to start in São Tomé e Príncipe (STP) and then clone / license in Africa.

Our project is to start in the capital of STP a micro production unit of yogurt, initially drinking yogurt, flavored.

Using our 25 years academic / industrial experience in dairy field, we developed our own equipment, adapted to STP.
Our equipment is low cost / low technology / low energy, batches 20 liters, 5 batches in 8 hours, output 10.000 drinking yogurt 250 ml per month, for 1 shift, in area of 30 m2 with only 2 Kwa.
Production costs and quality to European standards. Health benefits all there and tempting taste experience for consumer.
Our team is in 2nd year of work on the project, a long path has been travelled and here is where we stand today:
• concluded development of the concept, we have prototyped
• conducted consumer tests for taste and preferences
• acquired / built our production equipment that is in stock
• concluded pilot runs on the production, the product and the packing
• set up a legal company in STP and about to obtain the permits to manufacture
• arranged 30 m2 installation for micro production unit with good central location to sell directly consumers
• forged alliances with local partner to ease our launch and operations
• formed a team, experienced in restaurant operation, yogurt / cheese production and management startups


Next is to start producing the yogurt in STP and take it to the consumers. For this we propose your investment.
In 2 stages, as per African saying “a wise man uses one foot to test the depth of a river before going in with both feet!”:
• stage 1 , we require 30.000 € to buy the raw materials, consumables, ship equipment/goods, custom clearing, assemble plant, wages / electricity / water for first 90 days and travel costs

• Stage 2, with sales / distribution / production stabilized, we then require 40.000 € to consolidate our shoestring budget startup, to start cloning to other cities STP and other countries African countries in Gulf of Guinea
